Penkhull based punk band dating back to ’77. Gigged around the area up until 1979. Influenced as much by the New York scene/Velvets, etc, as by the English punk scene. Released a single on Bum Records – Speed Of The City b/w Sick in 1978, followed up with Lose Control To Rock ‘n’ Roll b/w Champagne on Redball in ’79. Known for a time as INTRAVEIN.

MAFF also played drums. Managed by NIGEL BAMFORD, one time bassist with DISCHARGE. Band disappeared late ’79. CHRIS BAILEY (BEYOND THE WALL, ALL THE MADMEN) was originally approached to be the vocalist, but declined the invitation.
